I've never gone on a retreat before, and I haven't practiced with a sangha in 5 years. So going on retreat for the Memorial Day weekend seems exciting and a bit scary. In fact I've never sat more than 1 1/2 hours in one go. But the retreat I'm looking at seems well suited for someone like me. http://www.southerndharma.org/. It looks like a beautiful place and this time of year is perfect weather-wise.
Very excited about my shawl with my Posh Feb yarn. It's going to be finished sometime next week. Then on to the next project. I'm really in love with Claudia Handpainted Linen and it's so crazy because I have 100 skeins of other fibers. I should really be doing some of them, but I think how nice and useful a linen top would be this summer. So I might breakdown and buy some. Plus my friend Erin just made a really fantastic one and it is a bit inspiring. I'm also doing some nice socks with Malabrigo sock yarn color Persia. Gorgeous blues.
