whatever you do, don't read the knitting injuries thread on ravelry. it will make you never want to knit with double pointed needles again.
ReplyDeleteThat is just sad - the safety police! It makes me think of that song "Warning" by Green Day.
ReplyDeleteOn a positive note, I'd never thought of having a box with knitting supplies for visitors and patients. What a clever idea! I can't tell you how many patients watch mindless tv only because there's nothing else to do. Some do have visitors regularly, but many don't have any at all. For those that are well enough to knit, that would be a neat "ministry" (non-religious, but selfless offering by someone).
